Some Frequently Asked Questions about Technical Support

1. When I try to enter the grid information I see a message “Cannot retrieve Grid Info”. What am I doing wrong?

It’s most likely that you are not doing anything wrong.

  • To be safe, make sure you have written the right information.
  • Please check the grid status on the front page – if the grid is being maintained you may not be able to access it.
2. When I load the viewer I see a message: “Your system contains a graphics card that is unknown to us at this time.” Does this mean the virtual world won’t work?
  • You see this message because it is likely you are a lucky duck and have a brand spanking new machine. It should not make a difference to your experience.
  • Click close and see how the viewer looks. Please contact us using the form below if you have further difficulties
